Comment & Post Manager for Reddit (Chrome extension)
Effective date: 15 October 2026 · Publisher: Neko Tinkers · Contact: @nekotinkers· Website: Nekotin.World

This policy explains what data the extension handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. In short: the extension has no servers, and the publisher never receives your data.

1. Data the extension handles

Data Where it comes from Why it's needed
Your Reddit username and karma totals (overall, comment, post and per subreddit) reddit.com, through your logged-in browser session To show which account you're managing and to display your karma in Analytics
Your own comments and posts: text, title, subreddit, score, date, link reddit.com, through your logged-in browser session To list, filter, analyse, edit and delete them at your request
Thread context (the post and nearby comments) when you click Show thread reddit.com To show the conversation around your comment
AI drafts Generated by the Ollama server you configure So you can review rewrites before posting them
Activity log: each action, its time and result, and the text from before and after an edit or delete Created by the extension So you can see what happened, export it and restore edited text
Settings: Ollama address, model, prompts, rules, theme, pacing and safety options Entered by you To remember your preferences

The extension does not read or store your Reddit password or cookies. Chrome attaches your existing reddit.com session to the extension's requests to reddit.com, exactly as it does when you browse the site.

The extension does not collect browsing history, analytics, telemetry, crash reports, advertising identifiers, location, or data from any website other than reddit.com.

2. Where data is stored

Everything is stored locally on your device, in Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.local). It isn't synced to your Google account or sent to the publisher. It stays there until you clear it or remove the extension.

3. Where data is sent

Data leaves your device only in these cases, and only when you trigger them:

  1. reddit.com: to read your history, edit or delete your comments and posts, load thread context and read your karma. These requests use your own session and are governed by Reddit's own privacy policy.
  2. Your Ollama server: when you run AI rewrite or Try on sample, the text of each selected item, its title, subreddit, score and date, and your prompt are sent to the Ollama address in Settings. By default that is http://localhost:11434, a program running on your own computer. If you point it at another machine, that machine receives this data, and you are responsible for it.

Nothing is sent to the publisher or to any other third party.

4. Sharing and sale

The publisher does not sell, rent, share or transfer your data to anyone, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. No human at the publisher can access it, because it never reaches the publisher.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure: the use of information received from Google APIs and of user data handled by this extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. User data is used only to provide the extension's single purpose (managing your own Reddit comments and posts) and the features you see in its interface.

5. Retention and deletion

6. Security

Data stays inside Chrome's per-extension storage, which other websites and extensions cannot read. The extension loads no remote code. All of its code ships in the package that Chrome Web Store reviews. Text from Reddit and from AI models is escaped before display, so it can't run as code. Connections to reddit.com use HTTPS. Connections to a local Ollama server use plain HTTP on your own machine.

7. Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by Reddit in your country) and does not knowingly handle their data.

8. Your rights

All data is under your control on your own device: you can view it in the extension, export the activity log as CSV, and delete it as described above. Because the publisher holds no data about you, there is nothing to request from the publisher. For questions, contact @nekotinkers.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in the extension's changelog and store listing.
